I am a married mother of three daughters, with whom my ministry starts and ends every day. My mission is to preach and teach the word of God, by winning souls for the Kingdom of God. Praying for the saints and those who are lost, praying for breakthrough in the lives of the believer and deliverance by an means necessary for the unbeliever. The office God has called me to is the office of a Pastor.... My vision is to be one of the greatest voices in print- that is an inspiration to all who will stumble upon my page- and to be of assistance to others who are also aspiring to bring the voices that speak through writing to life. I want to make the characters so real in each of my books that the words speak to your soul and ignite the literary fire that I am going to set. I believe that we all have a story or two to tell, but may not be able to put it all together and make it a great story, or testimony. My shepherd is Senior Pastor Arlene S. Chavis and I have been a member there for five and half years. I have worked in the ministry practically since day one. I started working with our youth (passion) by teaching Sunday School and Bible Study. Not long after I was placed over the youth ministry. I worked in that ministry and loved every day of it, I accepted my calling to preach God's word and was licensed to preach on November 14, 2004. I served as youth ministry leader and youth minister for three years, I preached on youth Sundays and have been invited to preach at other churches for youth revivals. I am also a warrior praying for the people of God and led the Prayer Ministry for three years. I am now no longer working in the youth ministry, but am still working. I have been appointed the lead minister of our clergy, I am a trainer, teacher, preacher, mentor, and intercessor. It is now six years later and I was ordained as Elder of No Greater Love Christian Church on Friday, April 3, 2009. I am a case manager for the ministry- Jericho Ministries, which is dedicated in giving low-level ex-female offenders a support system while being equipped with life changing tools and family reunification.This ministry is in the process of being fully equipped in being effective not just for assisting women with children but in bringing souls to Christ and is a sister ministry of No Greater Love Christian Church, Inc. I sit on the Board of Directors of Fine Linen Women Global Alliance and of Tranquil Moments Publishing, LLC Through my testimonies.. and I am so glad that I can truly say I have more than one and that God is still the mighty force working in my life on my behalf. I open myself up to the youth by being transparent sharing that season of my life, so that they can see that things really have not changed and that us old folks (lol) have gone through lots of the same temptations and even pit falls that they find themselves. My personal goals: I am the President of Woman to Woman Literary Sistas. I am also a member of Black Book Clubs and can be found in the presidents directory, urban reviews, Embracing my storm and Victory in the wake of Breast Cancer, I am happy to have made the first step. I am a six year survivor, and as an African American female that is a milestone. I now am an ambassador with Sisters Network which is the only recognized support system known worldwide for African Americans.... pushing the Sister Study and sharing myself with other women who are traveling along that journey that at times I thought I would die ......but God... "Cancer the Silent Storm," which is my latest testimony was released February 2, 2009. I am in the process of reprinting/republishing the book and will then be taking it on the road so watch out, I am coming to a city near you. I have penned three short stories; Just Speak Life, which is published in the Have a Little Faith anthology, Restoration, which is published in the Never Would Have Made It anthology, and Broken but Healed, published in the anthology Reflections of Me." Thanks to Tamika Newhouse, Nicole Bradley, and Vanessa Miller. I am working on my second novel- "Waiting While You Wait," which is a Christian fiction book that guarantees to be a good read. My desire is to write a teen novel by the end of 2010- so look out as I minister to our youth and women alike using foundational biblical principles. I would love to network with other anointed authors, avid readers, book clubs, publishers etc.... So look out for me, I am going to stay focused, busy and will be doing big things making an impact on the African American Literary World...... in the Christian genre.
